2026 EDITION

Villa del Grumello
JAZZ FESTIVAL

As dusk falls and the shadows lengthen, gently brushing the gardens, and the lake begins to reflect the first lights of the city, the intimate atmosphere and quiet allure of the spaces of the Villa del Grumello Jazz Festival become an exceptional stage.

Under the sign of dwelling and cohabitation, the festival becomes a meeting place—a space where differences, sensibilities, and visions draw closer, seek one another, touch, and ultimately blend into unexpected alchemies. Leading artists from the international jazz scene, coming from different backgrounds, geographies, and traditions, take turns weaving invisible bridges between roots and experimentation, thus creating a vibrant temporary community among place, artists, and audience.

Jazz, with its inherent history of encounters, hybridizations, and creative cohabitations, naturally embodies and expresses this openness toward the other, in resonance with the liminal character of the Grumello. It is an inclusive practice of listening, interaction, and transformation—a language capable of embracing difference not as distance, but as generative possibility. This year’s sonic textures reflect precisely this plurality of perspectives, moving fluidly between the acoustic intimacy of spiritual jazz, the energy of electric fusion, the freshness of the contemporary, and the collective spirit of orchestral swing.
