Founded in 1994 from an idea by Argentine saxophonist Javier Girotto, Aires Tango are a unique presence on the music scene: a living fusion of the roots of Argentine music and the expressive, free language of jazz. In over three decades of activity, the group has performed on nearly 1,000 stages at major international festivals and events, building a constantly evolving repertoire.

In 2024, Javier Girotto & Aires Tango celebrate 30 years of their career with the release of an album symbolically titled “30”, which captures the essence of their music: at times engaging and entertaining, at others intense, moving, and deeply evocative.
