The Fusion Experience project was conceived by Ciro Manna, with the idea of bringing together musicians from different cultures and musical backgrounds to create a new and innovative blend of jazz/fusion and world music. It is an exceptional quartet featuring legendary figures: Dave Weckl, recognized worldwide as one of the most influential and technically accomplished jazz/fusion drummers of all time; Richard Bona, a Grammy Award winner and one of the most acclaimed bassists, composers, and multi-instrumentalists on the international scene; Michael Lecoq, deeply rooted in jazz and regarded as one of the leading pioneers of stylistic fusion in the French music scene; and Ciro Manna, one of the most highly regarded guitarists in the Italian music scene.
